Why You Should Check Out Beecake

Beecake, just the very name of the band is quite intriguing, it’s weird yet very unique. I recently came across the band after checking out TheOneRing.net stream with Billy Boyd and Dominic Monaghan which you can read here if you want, in the stream Billy Boyd talks about his band Beecake. The name got me interested and I love The Lord of the Rings and Billy Boyd’s performance in it so I gave it a try, I ended up checking it out for Billy Boyd but staying for Beecake.

The band is truly amazing the first song I heard by them was Please Stay, it’s a nice song that starts off slow, but when you get three minutes and eleven seconds into the song that’s when you realize holy shit this song is amazing, seriously Billy has got one of the most amazing voices I’ve ever heard when it comes to singing it literally blew me away. Check out the music video for Please Stay, make sure you see when it gets to 3:11 you’ll be in awe:

This is just a heads up for people who’ve never heard of Beecake, because I find that they are a band worth finding out and listening too. I’ve already started listening to their other music, and I’m also thinking of buying their new album which released in December called Blue Sky Paradise and I’ll review it also.
