The Lonely Island Ft. Adam Levine And Kendrick Lamar “YOLO” Music Review

I’m a huge fan of The Lonely Island and have been waiting for so long for them to produce something new and they’ve finally done it, this song has some pretty impressive features and it’s making fun of such a stupid phrase that Drake made popular.
The song in general says that you shouldn’t do everything because if you truly live once then why do such dangerous things that could possibly kill you? Like staying away from kids because of lice, building bomb shelters, wearing chastity belts and even how pajamas can kill you in your sleep. It’s hilarious and by far some of the greatest music I’ve heard, the music video truly makes the song all that better because it adds to the hilarity.
Adam Levine works on this song really well, Adam singing the hook was a smart choice but I love how at the end in the video he’s dressed like a hobo with a tin foil hat; it just looked so dumb and funny. Plus, Kendrick Lamar was awesome; I never would have ever imagined that he’d do a song with The Lonely Island; it was an unexpected but awesome surprise.
If you’ve never heard of The Lonely Island then let me tell you that this video will make you fall in love with their comedic style of rap; it’s truly something different and entertaining to listen to. They also reveal that they have a new album coming out this year; I’ve bought their last two albums Incredibad and Turtleneck & Chain so I’m excited for this new one in the making.
