The Legend of Zelda: Hyrule Historia was released barely a week ago here in North America and it has already landed the title of a New York Times Bestseller, but many of you are probably wondering what this book is actually about.
It has a lot of concept art from The Legend of Zelda series and even has the official chronological order of each game, there’s the history of Hyrule which is pretty damn obvious because of the title. It’s a book that generally gives you all the information on one of the iconic gaming series in the world and it’s made quite an accomplishment.
Gaming isn’t what it used to be, people called it something that only nerds liked and usually bashed people who played them but now gaming is becoming a huge primary source of entertainment and I have to say some of the greatest stories told have been through a videogame; videogames bring a source of entertainment a book and movie could never have. You feel a source of closure to your character, you start to care for them playing as them and seeing them go through their journey and when you reach the end; you get the feeling that you’ve accomplished something.
