Mark Millar Considering That Kick-Ass Should Die At The End

Kick-Ass 2 is coming to theatres this summer and I can’t wait to see it, the first Kick-Ass was surprisingly very good, I was one of those people who weren’t expecting much but was blown away afterwards. I find that the title itself “Kick-Ass” makes the movie interesting on its own. Mark Millar has been discussing what he’s planning for the third movie and so far I think it’s going down the right path.

Millar has recently revealed what he’s planning for the final installment to the story of Kick-Ass; he explained that “I told Universal Pictures this and they asked me, ‘What does that mean?’ I said, ‘It means that this is where it all ends.’ They said, ‘Do they all die at the end?’ I said, ‘Maybe’ because this is a realistic superhero story. If someone doesn’t have a bullet-proof vest like Superman and doesn’t have Batman’s millions then eventually he is going to turn around the wrong corner and get his head kicked in or get shot in the face laughs. So Kick-Ass needs to reflect that. There has to be something dramatic at the end, he cannot do this for the rest of his life.”
What Mark Millar says makes sense; I have a feeling that the possibility of him dying is pretty high and I think that if it happens he’ll be going out as a hardcore bad-ass, though that may not be the case. He could be left severely wounded for example he could lose an arm, leg, both or more who knows. So far it seems like we’re going to be getting a dramatic ending. I didn’t get the Superman having a bullet proof vest part, but I get what he meant. I’m excited to see where this all ends.
