If you read my last post about World of Warcraft HERE that all the expansions have a price drop then you’ll know I’ve recently have gotten back into the game. I know that I’m very late with this but I’ve really got to throw in my own opinion on the game. Mists of Pandaria is one of those things where I at first hated it, for no reason whatsoever and I was also one of those guys who said that Pandas are stupid and World of Warcraft is being stupid adding them as a playable race. Now that I’ve actually played the game I have a solid opinion, one that surprises even my-self.
Mists of Pandaria is in fact a lot better than I expected, the Pandaren are actually a very awesome race and the Monk class is also great. What I love about the Monk class is the Brewmaster spec, I’m a huge fan of the Jackie Chan movie Drunken Master so you can tell why it intrigued me. I haven’t played the Monk much because I ended up making a Pandaren Warrior, the environment where the Pandaren starts is extremely beautiful how it resembles a Chinese culture. The story was very interesting, it kept me hooked while playing it from level 1-12, to be honest Mists of Pandaria is actually pretty damn good.
The only thing that really threw me off is how much World of Warcraft changed, the last time I played there were talent trees, you had to pay to learn how to get your mount, you bought skills from your class trainer and etc. There was a lot new for me and it felt as if I was playing a whole different game, the customization has been improved greatly it’s a whole lot more easier to use. I just to get used to the new content added to the game and all the changes, what blew my completely blew my mind was the Dungeon Journal thingy where you get to look at all the bosses in any dungeon you want and the items that drop from them it’s a whole lot more convenient for players.
I know as I play I’ll come across many other changes and different things added to the game, I’ll be writing more about what’s going on in World of Warcraft now since I’m so far enjoying the game.
What was your reaction to Mists of Pandaria?
