The guests tonight are Aaron Paul who plays Jessie Pinkman and Anna Gunn who plays Skyler White. Bill Hader, mostly known for his contribution to Saturday Night Live was supposed to be on the show tonight, but he bowed down and said he would be on in a future episode.
Talking Bad airs tonight at 11:00pm, right after Low Winter Sun, so don’t forget to come right back here to watch the live recap with us live.
RECAP: Chris starts giving us a whole little recap and thanks Anna and Aaron for being there. Chris asks Anna what was the decision at the diner. Anna says that when she got the call from Hank she was confused and thought maybe Hank knew everything; when she understood that she knew he had no idea of her involvement she decided to create a scene to get out.
Chris then says that he is sad and happy for Aaron and that everyone will yell bitch at him; Aaron says he loves the word bitch. Chris asks how he prepares for Jesse, Aaron says he’s been the character for so long that it has become as if he is also Jesse; he just thinks about what the character has gone through.
Chris then mentions how Bill Hader said to let Aaron Paul come on the show first and bowed out this week; Chris asks about Jesse and Walt’s relationship. Aaron believes that Jesse just wants to stay away from him; he asks Anna about Skyler and Walter after and she believes she has a deep love for him wanting to stay with him through this. He asks why the lost of Mike hurts Jesse so much, Aaron says that Jesse just needed some guidance and Mike was like a father figure to him that made him safe.
Chris asks the question to Aaron, what would make Jesse sadder; Jane’s death, Brock’s poisoning or Mike’s death. Jesse says that Jane’s death would hurt the most since he really loved her; the slap across the face was improvised and Anna says that she was afraid of it. Aaron then says that when he was hit on the show by Mike it was all real slap; when saying it hurt him he was told to man up.
Chris asks Aaron to say yeah bitch, magnets and he does so. Someone asks Aaron why Jesse has such perfect teeth for a meth dealer. Aaron says that Jesse likes to floss and take care of his teeth. A fan calls in for Anna and asks about how hard it was for her doing the whole scene where Skyler and Marie were struggling with the baby. Anna says it was really tough but they don’t do it with the baby there, they use a fake one so the children is not in the scene where the two of them are screaming. Chris then says that children is Jesse’s achilles heel. Chris then adds that Todd is the creepiest character on the show. Aaron then answers Chris’s question about children, he says that Jesse’s parents gave up on him and that he wants to help kids in bad situations.
Vince Gilligan gives us our hint for next week’s episode, he says it is called Confessions and we see an image with Skyler and Walter at dinner and there are two empty chairs that will be filled. Chris asks if they are happy with the ending of the series; Anna says she is astonished and happy about the ending. It has an ending that does all the characters justice. Aaron talks about his charity and that there is a chance for a trip for two to go to L.A. and that Aaron will pick you up from the airport and play a trick on Bryan Cranston, then they will dress up in hazmat suits and cook to the finale of Breaking Bad. The audience gives them a round of applause and Chris says that he’s glad to have had the two on the show. Next week guests will be Bob Odendirk and Samuel L. Jackson.
